Being told that with the markers she had, there was a
high risk of return within 3 years peaked Dr. Rogers's interest in seeking the “why”.
During her treatment with chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy spanning the next two years, her
research directed her to functional medicine, where she began to study the root cause of
disease processes.
About Dr. Rhea Rogers
Dr. Rhea Rogers is a Board Certified Physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology who currently
practices and specializes in treating hormonal, nutritional, and cellular deficiencies.
In 2010, at the age of 48, Dr Rogers was diagnosed with Ductal In Situ Carcinoma of the breast
(Stage 0). As a busy Obstetrician & Gynecologist, she opted to have a bilateral mastectomy only to awaken from surgery with a diagnosis of stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast, which was one stage away from incurable.
